Job summary

ABB in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Resident Service Technician to deliver high-quality technical support and service at customer sites. You will install, maintain, and repair equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction, with a travel component up to 15% for training and cross-site support.

The role requires an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of electrical/electronics or process control experience, or a HS diploma with 7+ years of related work.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of electrical/electronics, instrumentation or process control work or military experience.
• Or HS diploma/GED with 7+ years of related work/military experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot up to 240 VAC/870 VDC.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment and maintain electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site service work per work instructions and ABB quality and safety guidelines.
• Communicate timelines and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Perform field service tasks and diagnose issues with remote or on-site analysis.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and equipment for service.
• Travel up to 15% for training and site support.
