Job summary

Alta Equipment Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead our on-site service team of 20+ technicians. You will coordinate daily operations, drive safety, and improve service revenue, while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will organize weekly meetings, manage work orders, staffing, and training, and collaborate with HR on discipline and payroll. A strong mechanical aptitude and dealership background are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of oversight experience preferred.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer relations and people skills; ability to manage others.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook; BI tools: Fleetmatics, Paytrace, Concur, Extend.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly tech meetings and safety training.
• Maintain high-quality service delivery, productive and profitable operations.
• Schedule maintenance and service work orders for accounts.
• Coordinate staffing and workload to meet customer and business needs.
• Ensure open communication with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Promote Alta's guiding principles in daily activities.
