Job summary

Alta Equipment Group, in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead and develop the field service team while ensuring safe, efficient, profitable, and customer-focused operations.

You will oversee technician performance, service revenue, and WIP management, coordinating schedules and maintaining communication with customers and vendors. Weekend on-call rotation is required for your segment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of oversight experience preferred.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer relations and people skills.
• Ability to manage others.
• Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and BI; Fleetmatics, Paytrace, Concur, Extend.
• Language Skills - read/interpret safety rules and write routine reports; speak before groups.

Responsibilities

• Organize and present at weekly tech meetings and safety training.
• Maintain high-quality service delivery in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner.
• Maintain ongoing maintenance schedules for service accounts.
• Coordinate all scheduled maintenance, replacements, and customer service work orders.
• Assist or assign teams to ensure work quality and communications.
• Maintain open and positive communication with employees, departments, customers, and vendors.
• Staffing level and workload distribution to meet needs.
• Lead a team of 20+ Field Technicians.
