Job summary

Alta Equipment Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead a team of 20+ field technicians onsite, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable service operations while driving customer satisfaction.

The role manages work orders, dispatch, budgeting, and maintenance scheduling, with focus on service revenue and GP targets. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of oversight experience and dealership exposure, plus strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of oversight experience preferred.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer relations and people skills.
• Ability to successfully manage others.
• Computer Skills - MS Word, Excel, Outlook and BI; Fleetmatics, Paytrace, Concur, Extend.
• Language skills and ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead weekly tech meetings and safety training.
• Maintain high-quality service delivery in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner.
• Maintain ongoing maintenance schedules for service accounts.
• Coordinate all scheduled maintenance and customer service work orders.
• Support technician work quality and assign assistance as needed.
• Communicate effectively with employees, departments, customers and vendors.
