Job summary

Desoutter Industrial Tools seeks an Onsite Service Engineer to support customer manufacturing environments at Memphis, TN/Olive Branch, MS. You will troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate advanced assembly and tightening systems on customer sites, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.

You will travel regularly across the United States and Canada, with occasional visits to Mexico, applying your technical knowledge to maintain line reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Educational background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Information Technology, or equivalent technical discipline preferred.
• At least 5 years hands‑on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, calibrating, or repairing industrial equipment (mechanical, electrical, software-integrated).
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills with ability to use diagnostics and knowledge bases to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate Desoutter assembly and tightening systems to maintain peak performance and minimize downtime.
• Provide onsite technical support to resolve urgent production line challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and manage calibration activities to uphold standards.
• Develop partnerships with customer teams by delivering exceptional service and technical guidance.
