Job summary
Unisys is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver full onsite engineering support for a base of large, complex clients in the Richmond, VA area. You will own onsite service activity, perform advanced maintenance and installation tasks, and ensure high-quality service delivery and strong client relations.
The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, potentially a technical certification or Associate Degree, and typically 2–4 years of related field experience.

- 2–4 years of relevant experience in field engineering or related area.
Responsibilities
- Provide the full range of Field Engineering support for a base of large clients.
- Own onsite service activity end to end.
- Perform advanced-level maintenance on products and installation activities.
- Provide feedback to improve service delivery and processes.
- Use advanced tools to resolve client problems and conduct scheduled installs.
- Identify and resolve systemic issues within the team.
- Proactively support teammates with technical assistance and expertise.
- Contribute to client services metrics reporting and documentation.
- Monitor issues and inform the manager with improvement recommendations.
