Job summary

Actalent in Hebron, KY is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to provide on-site IT support, resolve Tier 2 escalations, and manage equipment deployments. The role requires hands-on Windows troubleshooting, experience with AD/Group Policy, and familiarity with printers, scanners, and MDM.

The position is a full-time, on-site contract based at the Hebron CVG facility with occasional travel. Compensation aligns with market rates for an on-site IT engineer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT field service, desktop, or IT support experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting for Windows, hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Experience with Service Desk, ticketing systems, and SLAs.
• Windows imaging and deployment expertise.
• Experience with Dell, Lenovo, and HP hardware.
• Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• MDM experience (Android, Zebra/SOTI).
• Printer and handheld scanner experience.
• MS Office/Teams proficiency.
• PowerShell knowledge.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 2 escalations and onsite IT issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows devices, hardware, software, printers, scanners, and connectivity.
• Support Microsoft applications and operational IT equipment.
• Manage tickets and adhere to SLAs.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting, and resolutions.
• Serve as the primary IT contact for CVG.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, centralized IT teams, vendors, and Operations.
• Support equipment deployments, asset activities, and IT projects.
• Assist with facility moves, expansions, and technology deployments.
• Prepare the facility and equipment for peak-season operations.
