Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Resident Field Support Technician to deliver dedicated onsite IT support for a customer across two Kentucky locations. You will act as the primary contact for end-user support, hardware troubleshooting, device deployments, and incident resolution while meeting agreed service levels.

The role requires travel between Jeffersonville and Clay City sites and ongoing commitment to service quality and security policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT/field/desktop support.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite independently in a customer environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise users and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line onsite technical support to end users.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within SLA targets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Install and reconfigure IT equipment; support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Teams issues; maintain ticketing docs.
