Tech-Nique Partners is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support for a fast-paced operation in Frankfort, KY. You will be the primary IT resource at the location, handling day-to-day desktop support and assisting with networking, hardware, scanners, printers, and other technology used throughout the facility.

This hands-on role requires independence, reliability, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support or help desk.
• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Able to work independently as the primary onsite IT resource.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows, Microsoft 365, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support basic networking including Wi-Fi, switches, and cabling.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT equipment as needed.
• Support warehouse technology, including handheld/RF scanners.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and workstation setups.
• Document issues, resolutions, and recurring problems.
• Coordinate with the broader IT team when escalation is needed.

This individual will be the primary IT support person at the location, so we're looking for someone who is technically strong, dependable, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. You'll handle day-to-day desktop support while also assisting with networking, hardware, scanners, printers, and other technology used throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows, Microsoft 365, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support basic networking issues including Wi-Fi, switches, access points, cabling, and connectivity.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT equipment as needed.
• Support warehouse technology, including handheld/RF scanners and related devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, password resets, and workstation setups.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and recurring problems.
• Coordinate with the broader IT team when issues require escalation.
• Maintain inventory and assist with deployment of new hardware and technology.
• Take ownership of technical issues and follow them through resolution.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, or similar experience.
• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, and troubleshooting connectivity.
• Ability to work independently as the primary onsite IT resource.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of problems.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Frankfort, KY.
