Job summary

University of North Florida is seeking an Event Services Coordinator for the Herbert University Center. This on-site role requires evening and weekend availability to ensure successful event execution, customer service excellence, and seamless coordination of resources.

The coordinator will serve as the lead on-site contact during assigned shifts, manage event operations, and communicate with clients, guests, vendors, and university departments while adhering to safety and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review event schedules, room diagrams, and service requests for readiness and accuracy.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, guests, vendors, and participants during events.
• Provide responsive customer service and coordinate resources to support event execution.
• Troubleshoot routine event, facility, and customer service issues; escalate when needed.
• Assist with event setup adjustments and basic AV setup and support.
• Document incidents, safety concerns, and operational issues during shifts.
