Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an ESH Coordinator to actively support project teams in implementing environmental, safety, and health standards at the site level in Dallas, TX. You will monitor safe conditions, enforce OSHA standards, and contribute to accident investigations to prevent recurrence.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS and OSHA 30/STS, with strong oral and written communication. The role offers comprehensive benefits and on-site safety leadership across Layton projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred with 1+ year in construction or industrial health and safety.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour construction and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Proactive in safety and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety conditions and enforce OSHA and Layton policies.
• Assist ESH Manager with accident investigations and data collection.
• Track workers' compensation information and assist injury management.
• Conduct site-specific safety orientations.
• Participate in pre-construction safety meetings and safety planning.
• Provide safety training to employees and subcontractors at the site.
• Support HR and Field Ops to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform industrial hygiene surveys for gases/noise; conduct fit tests.
• Support Safety Committee meetings and related duties.
