Job summary

ECC in Newark, NJ seeks a Quality Control Supervisor to coordinate compliance with quality requirements on environmental DoD projects. This on-site role requires three years of QC experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.

You will lead subcontractor QA, review submittals, and ensure testing and documentation meet specifications. The position emphasizes training, site inspections, and the Three-Phase Control Process,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Sciences or related field.
• Three years of experience directly related to quality control.
• Experience on environmental or construction projects.
• Knowledge of DoD environmental construction requirements.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the quality control program with subcontractors and project team.
• Deliver quality training for project staff, subcontractors, and required attendees to ensure exceptional quality standards.
• Ensure that required testing is conducted and documented.
• Evaluate test results, ensure results meet specifications, and document results.
• Inspect and document the receipt of all materials to ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare and/or review of design and material submittals.
• Complete quality related documentation (field reports, logs, records) in a timely manner.
• Upload documentation to the project portal and ensure accessibility.
