Job summary

EMI Services, a DoD facilities operations provider, seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead QC programs, inspect services, and prepare compliance reports for government projects. This role collaborates with the Project Manager, Operations Manager, Safety Supervisor, and government representatives to uphold performance standards.

The ideal candidate has DoD facility experience, strong communication, and technical reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with facilities maintenance preference.
• 3+ years as QC/Safety Manager or 5+ years as QC Inspector in a DoD environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical and interpersonal organizational skills; phone etiquette.
• REAL ID compliant driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• U.S. citizenship for site access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality surveillance and tracking system for maintenance shops and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement QC plan with environmental compliance and performance reporting.
• Advise Project Manager on QC, safety and environmental program status and strategies.
• Monitor and track qualifications or credentials required by personnel.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient functioning of the work.
• Promote and maintain EMI's image to customers, vendors, employees and community.
• Maintain confidentiality of EMI, customers, vendors and employees data.
• Establish priorities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Continuously strive to accomplish EMI and individual goals.
• Inform Project Manager of pertinent problems and irregularities.
• Adhere to safety policies and use of PPE.
