Job summary

Insight Environmental, Engineering & Construction, Inc. in Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to lead the Quality Control Program on federal projects.

The role requires DoD/NAVFAC/USACE/AF project experience and a CQM-C certification, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 10 years of construction experience on large projects. The QCM will ensure contract compliance, safety, and client satisfaction, coordinating with government

Qualifications

• USACE CQM-C certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience on projects over $10M.
• Minimum 5 years as Quality Control Manager on federal projects.
• Experience with DoD, NAVFAC, USACE or Air Force projects.
• Ability to work onsite in El Segundo, CA.
• Must have exposure to TI work and ICD-705.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage the Quality Control Program.
• Conduct 3-Phase QC inspections (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up).
• Ensure compliance with contract specs, drawings, and standards.
• Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and QC docs.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and government representatives.
• Interface with Contracting Officers, CMEs, and QA personnel.
• Identify and resolve quality issues proactively.
• Support safety, schedule, and performance objectives.
