Job summary

M.C. Dean's Modular Mission Critical campus north of Richmond, VA, is seeking an Electrical QC Supervisor to lead quality control on assigned projects, supervise QC Inspectors, ensure contract compliance, and drive the 3-Phase QC process.

Must have 8+ years electrical construction experience, USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase QC knowledge, and a Journeyman Electrician License (preferred). Responsibilities include planning, field inspections, documenting deficiencies, and coordinating with project leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years electrical construction experience on similar contracts.
• Extensive knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System on military bases.
• Journeyman Electrician License preferred; certified Apprenticeship Program graduate preferred.
• Must pass basic background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise project quality control activities to ensure contract compliance.
• Supervise, assign, and prioritize work for Quality Control Inspectors; coaching as needed.
• Direct implementation of the 3-Phase Quality Control process across Definable Features of Work.
• Review design and construction documents for constructability, quality risks, and contract compliance.
• Establish and maintain project-specific quality plans, inspection procedures, and installation checklists.
• Oversee field inspections and verification activities; document and correct deficiencies.
• Lead resolution and closeout of quality and commissioning punch-lists.
• Serve as primary quality interface with Project Management, GC, Owner, and inspectors.
• Make day-to-day quality decisions; escalate high-risk issues to leadership.
• Participate in project and safety meetings to address quality risks and corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate quality documentation and compliance tracking throughout the lifecycle.
