Job summary

APTIM Corp. in Linden, New Jersey is seeking a Contractor Quality Control System Manager to lead the project QC program.

You will develop, implement, maintain, and manage QC requirements, working with Program Quality Manager, Project Manager and Construction Managers to resolve quality and technical issues on site. The role requires 5+ years of construction QC experience, a CQM-C certification, and on-site full-time availability.

Qualifications

• Must have construction experience with a minimum of 5 years, including multiple years as a Quality Control System Manager.
• Must hold Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification (USACE).
• Shall be on-site full-time during work activities.
• Experience with EM-385; certification is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication plus moderate to advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the Project Quality Control Plan and QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct 3-phase Quality Control inspections on definable features of work.
• Assist with preparation, development, and submittal of project documents.
• Provide field engineering support as needed and ensure day-to-day processes are followed.
• Coordinate with Supervisors on daily walk-downs and weekly inspections.
• Monitor applicable standards and regulations; liaise with governmental agencies.
