Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Operations Manager I to lead on-site environmental operations at a key customer site in Wilmington, NC. You will organize day-to-day activities to maximize profitability while ensuring safe, compliant service delivery and planning for future needs in tech, facilities, labor, and equipment.

You will develop, monitor, and report on operational and financial KPIs, providing strong leadership to the InSite team and collaborating with customer stakeholders and Clean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management or environmental services.
• Required trainings: RCRA, OSHA HAZWOPER 24-hour, and DOT.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with P&L statements and financial reporting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste management services at a customer site, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage health and safety oversight of onsite employees supporting air, water, and hazardous waste programs.
• Maximize use of equipment and manpower to support productivity and profitability.
• Develop, monitor, and measure KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost control.
• Establish processes to measure onsite personnel performance and set clear expectations.
• Ensure infrastructure, tools, and staff enable efficient operations.
• Coach and mentor onsite personnel; support succession planning and growth.
• Develop and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide timely reporting and data on operations, KPIs, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and leadership to optimize program performance.
• Perform additional duties to support InSite program success.
