Job summary

Abbott is hiring a Materials Management Associate I in Madison, WI. The role supports basic materials handling, inventory control, shipping/receiving and restocking, under close supervision with clearly defined procedures to ensure timely material flow for laboratory, production, and operational needs.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Pay ranges from $21/hr to $29.65/hr. Location is onsite in Madison. Abbott is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ year relevant experience.
• Basic computer proficiency, MS Office, and accurate data entry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials.
• Operate forklifts and other site machinery.
• Restock lab supplies and fulfill internal material requests.
• Record inventory transactions in SAP/EWM.
• Prepare outbound shipments and ensure DOT/IATA compliance.
• Adhere to GMP and SOPs and safety requirements.
• Escalate inventory discrepancies per protocols.
• Engage in cross-training and skill development.
