Job summary

Digital Realty seeks an Onsite Energy Generation Manager to lead end-to-end energy projects across AMER, coordinating design, construction, and operation. The role requires managing external consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable generation assets.

Travel up to 25% and strong regulatory knowledge are essential. The candidate should have 5+ years in energy projects, experience with natural gas and other generation tech, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in energy generation or large infrastructure project management.
• Experience with natural gas-fired and fuel cell systems.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of on-site energy generation projects.
• Manage external consultants, owner’s engineers, and owner’s representatives.
• Support technology selection, vendor evaluation, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and construction teams.
• Negotiate major equipment and long-lead agreements.
• Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and financials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
