Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking an Onsite Energy Generation Manager to lead end-to-end energy projects across the AMER region, coordinating design, construction and commissioning. This hybrid role requires 5+ years in energy generation project management, experience with natural gas facilities and BESS, and strong executive communication.

Travel up to 25% and collaboration with EPCs, consultants, and internal teams to ensure reliable, scalable generation assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing energy generation or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience with natural gas-fired or alternative generation tech.
• Strong governance, scheduling, risk management, and budgeting skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% to site projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of on-site energy generation projects from design to commissioning.
• Manage external consultants, owner’s engineers, and owner’s representatives.
• Support technology selection, vendor evaluation, and risk assessments for generation tech.
• Provide executive-level reporting on program progress, risks, and financials.
