Job summary

Ramp Health is seeking two EMTs to cover a large construction site, providing rapid medical response and ongoing safety engagement for workers. You will triage injuries, manage a quick response bag, and coordinate with external medical providers as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, promoting safe practices on site, and maintaining calm, decisive action under pressure within a multidisciplinary safety team.

Qualifications

• Active EMT Certification (EMT or EMT-B)
• Experience in emergency medical care or occupational first aid response
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with workers, foremen, and safety leadership
• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining logs and documentation
• Comfort working on construction sites and collaborating with a multidisciplinary safety team
• Proactive, approachable, engagement-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Serve as first responder to injuries, illnesses, and medical incidents onsite, providing immediate and effective care.
• Maintain a fully stocked, within-arm’s-reach quick response bag at all times.
• Administer first aid and triage, determining referral to Occupational Health Clinic or Emergency Room as needed.
• Escort employees to external medical providers when needed for further evaluation.
• Conduct follow-up checks to ensure adherence to work restrictions and recovery progress.
• Maintain accurate, detailed logs of all injuries and incidents for project reporting and compliance.
