Job summary

Ramp Health is hiring two Full-Time EMTs for a large construction project. Based in Culpepper, VA, you will provide rapid response to medical incidents and promote a safe work environment.

This role requires hands-on patient care, strong situational awareness, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary safety team on-site. Responsibilities include first response, maintaining a ready-to-use medical bag, coordinating with external providers when needed, and logging all incidents for compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency medical care or occupational first aid response.
• Comfort working in a construction site environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary safety team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first responder to all injuries, illnesses, and medical incidents onsite, providing immediate and effective care.
• Maintain a fully stocked, within-arm’s-reach quick response bag at all times.
• Administer first aid or determine when referral to an Occupational Health Clinic or Emergency Room is necessary.
• Escort employees to external medical providers when needed for further evaluation.
• Follow-Up Monitoring: Conduct follow-up checks to ensure employees are adhering to work restrictions and progressing toward recovery.
• Maintain accurate, detailed logs of all injuries and incidents for project reporting and compliance.
