Ramp Health is hiring two full-time EMTs to cover a busy construction site near Culpepper, VA. You will respond to medical incidents, triage, and promote health and safety on site.

Ideal candidates hold an Indiana EMT certification and have experience in emergency medical care or occupational first aid; strong communication and documentation skills are essential. This role requires onsite collaboration with safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Active EMT Certification (EMT or EMT-B) in Indiana.
• Experience in emergency medical care or occupational first aid.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions.
• Strong communication with workers and safety staff.
• Proven organizational skills for logs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first responder to injuries, illnesses onsite with immediate care.
• Maintain a fully stocked quick response bag for on-site use.
• Triage incidents and determine need for clinic or ER referral.
• Escort employees to external medical providers as needed.
• Conduct follow-up checks on work restrictions and recovery.
• Maintain accurate incident logs for reporting and compliance.
• Promote injury prevention and safe work practices daily.
• Walk through work zones to reinforce safety and hydration.
