Job summary

Ramp Health is seeking experienced PRN EMTs to support our Medical Response Team on a large construction project in Culpeper, Virginia. You will respond to onsite injuries and medical concerns, provide initial care, and coordinate with safety leadership to protect worker wellbeing.

Ideal candidates hold Virginia EMT certification (EMT or EMT-B), stay calm under pressure, and communicate clearly with crews. This role offers flexible scheduling and a dynamic, hands-on environment on-site.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia EMT (EMT or EMT-B) certification
• Experience in emergency care or occupational response
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Comfort working on a construction site
• Proactive, engaging with crews

Responsibilities

• First on Scene: Respond immediately to any onsite injury, illness, or medical concern.
• Preparedness: Keep a fully stocked quick-response bag accessible at all times.
• Triage & Assessment: Provide first aid, elevate care when needed, and determine referral needs.
• Escort Support: Accompany employees to external medical providers when further evaluation is required.
• Follow-Up Care: Check in with employees post-incident to ensure recovery progress.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain clear, detailed incident logs for reporting and compliance.
