Job summary

Premise One in Beverly Hills, CA, seeks an Embedded Lead Service & Project Technician to be the client’s on-site representative, delivering daily service, maintenance, and project support across access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

The role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting, the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain professional client relationships; Lenel certifications and system knowledge are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant experience installing, servicing, maintaining, or troubleshooting commercial low-voltage systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with access control, CCTV/video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
• Working knowledge of Lenel access control systems, including field hardware, control panels, system navigation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting IP cameras and video surveillance field devices.
• Strong knowledge of relay logic, electrical circuits, control panel wiring, network connectivity, and system diagnostics.
• Ability to independently diagnose system problems and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools and test equipment, including meters, network testers, and other diagnostic devices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, riser diagrams, device schedules, and manufacturer documentation.
• Proficiency with computers, mobile applications, ticketing systems, and industry-specific software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with Premise One and the client.
• Valid state driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Preferred Certifications: Lenel certification; Milestone, Axis, Bosch, Avigilon/Genetec/Software House/Feenics certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded on-site technical support at the client location.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair access control, CCTV/video surveillance, and intrusion systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, device testing, and corrective repairs.
• Coordinate with client and Premise One service manager, manage daily priorities.
• Support ad-hoc installation and upgrade projects and hardware replacements.
• Test, document, and close tickets with client communications and photographic evidence.
