Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a technician to provide expert support for ROTHR MARCAP and RACER receive site systems. You will troubleshoot complex radar receive systems, perform on-site maintenance, and coordinate with engineering teams on test and data collection.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently or in a team, and readiness to travel for site tasks. A DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of ROTHR Operations and Maintenance experience with system operation and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to quickly learn nonstandard equipment operation and test concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide technician level support of ROTHR MARCAP and RACER receive site systems, including reports on system status.
• Provide onsite support for operation and maintenance of OTHR equipment; assist with installations, system integration, and maintenance at local/remote sites.
• Collaborate with ROTHR engineering groups, assist data extraction and transfer for test groups; execute field tasks with minimal supervision.
