Job summary

Raytheon in Freer, TX is seeking a skilled technician to perform systems level operation and monitoring of ROTHR/MARCAP receiver site equipment. You will conduct preventative maintenance on ROTHR assets, antennas, RF and digital hardware, and assist with system evolutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience or tech education.
• Graduate in Electronic or Electrical Engineering Technology or Military Tech School with curriculum.
• Experience using test equipment and troubleshooting major electronic systems.
• Clean driving record for company vehicle authorization.
• Eligible for DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ROTHR/MARCAP receiver site equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Interpret manuals, plan work sequences, and select resources and test equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers during testing, data collection and system evolutions; document findings.
• Receive guidance from supervisor and perform related duties as assigned.
