Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of an Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology program at a technical institute or military school (6+ months).
• Minimum of three years of related experience.
• Ability to use test equipment and systematic troubleshooting for major electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ROTHR/MARCAP transmitter site equipment at the systems level.
• Perform preventive and intermediate level maintenance on transmitter equipment.
• Maintain components including HPA, PAPS, log periodic antennas, and RF/digital hardware.
• Interpret manufacturer manuals and data to resolve complex problems.
• Plan work sequences, select resources and test gear, and troubleshoot/repair major electronic systems.
• Support development by constructing experiments or prototypes, testing, and reporting data findings.
• Engage with engineering teams during testing and data collection for enhancements.
