Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead onsite oversight of LV/MV/HV electrical systems on utility-scale renewable projects. You will coordinate with EPCs, OEMs, and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires experience with solar, BESS, or wind projects, strong documentation, and the ability to travel to project sites across the United States. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with solar, BESS, or wind projects is a plus.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage LV/MV/HV electrical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily onsite oversight of LV/MV/HV electrical systems, inverters, and BESS installations.
• Coordinate cable pulling, terminations, and testing per plan and specs.
• Ensure QA/QC and energization readiness throughout installation.
• Interface with OEMs/commissioning teams to coordinate requirements and startups.
• Manage electrical NCRs and track root-cause analysis and resolutions.
• Maintain project documentation for site conditions, inspections, and decisions.
• Represent EPS onsite and build relationships with clients, utilities, EPCs, and contractors.
