Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead onsite oversight of grading, roads, foundations, and drainage on utility-scale renewable projects. You will coordinate with EPCs, inspectors, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence across sites.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and brings experience with solar, BESS, or wind projects, plus strong communication skills for multi-party coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience with solar, BESS, or wind projects.
• Skilled at coordinating multiple trades in a fast-paced field.
• Strong communication with EPC partners, utilities and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day onsite oversight of grading, roads, foundations, drainage and other civil construction activities on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Oversee survey and earthwork activities to ensure accuracy and alignment with plans.
• Ensure civil and structural quality through inspections and QA/QC.
• Coordinate civil subcontractors, schedules, and safety on site.
• Manage delivery, staging, and tracking of Owner Supplied Equipment and materials onsite.
• Document site decisions and progress; maintain clear project records.
