Job summary

ANA in Henderson, NV is seeking a hands-on Electrical Compliance Engineer to support the development of next-generation hybrid power systems. The role covers requirements, electrical architecture, component selection, schematic design, prototype build, integration, testing, and production support.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of electrical product-development experience in automotive, off-highway, or industrial equipment, with strong knowledge of high- and low-voltage systems and CAN/J1939

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 1–3 years hands-on electrical product-development experience in automotive, off-highway, industrial equipment, controls, power equipment, or similar environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop schematics and wiring designs, interpret component datasheets, size circuits.
• Practical experience with prototype integration, lab testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to document technical work clearly and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine low- and high-voltage electrical architectures.
• Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and BOMs.
• Select electrical components (batteries, inverters, motors, controllers, etc.).
• Perform design checks for conductor sizing, voltage drop, protection, and derating.
• Integrate subsystems into prototypes and production equipment; CAN/J1939 integration.
