Job summary

ANA in Henderson, NV is seeking a Powertrain Integration Engineer for an onsite role. You will focus on the mechanical integration, validation, and optimization of diesel engines within ANA’s power generators and hybrid energy systems.

You will work on TVA, diagnostics, and hands‑on prototyping on the factory floor, collaborating with design and manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; 3–5 years hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with engine integration, validation, and powertrain systems.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and internal combustion engines.
• Experience on manufacturing floor and testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Engine integration, mounting, and performance validation for diesel/variable‑speed engines in ANA systems.
• Support calibration, load‑response evaluation, and operational optimization for fixed- and variable‑speed applications.
• Perform TVA to evaluate drivetrain compatibility and mitigate resonance risks.
• Hands‑on prototyping: assemble, tear down, modify engine units and test fixtures.
• Design for Manufacturability in collaboration with design/process engineers.
• Produce and maintain BOMs, SOPs, testing logs, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and product teams to define specifications.
