Job summary

Spectrum Brands is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to oversee EHS, security and workers' compensation for the Home & Garden Division at the Vinita Park facility. You will lead safety programs, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, and drive improvements to protect workers and the environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in safety-related field and at least five years in an industrial setting, with collaboration across plant leadership and regulators while promoting Spectrum

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial safety or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role in manufacturing.
• Experience with OSHA/EPA regulations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health, safety and sustainability initiatives at the Vinita Park facility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and local regulations; manage program auditing.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for managers and employees.
• Coordinate emergency planning, incident investigations and risk controls.
• Support workers' compensation processes and return-to-work actions.
