Job summary

Spectrum Brands, Inc. in Missouri seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for the Vinita Park Facility. You will ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and drive safety initiatives to protect workers and the plant.

You will develop EHS policies, deliver training to managers and staff, and coordinate audits and emergency planning to safeguard operations. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in EHS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role with knowledge of applicable regulations.
• Manufacturing facility experience required.
• Experience with Process Safety Management/Risk Management Planning is a plus.

• Lead EHS initiatives aligned with local, group, and corporate objectives.
• Manage safety performance and reporting through electronic EHS systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and local regulations; represent the company in regulatory interactions.
