Spectrum Brands, based in the St. Louis, MO area (Vinita Park), seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to oversee EHS, safety, security and workers' compensation for the Home & Garden Division.

The role ensures a safe workplace and regulatory compliance across local, state and federal requirements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field and at least 5 years in EHS within manufacturing, with strong training, leadership and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Process Safety Management/Risk Management Planning is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead EHS and sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA and local regulations compliance and represent the company in regulatory interactions.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
• Design and deliver training on safety topics (fire prevention, LOTO, hazardous waste, spill control, chemical hygiene, hearing conservation, respiratory protection, hazard communication).
• Oversee safety committee activities, emergency planning, drills, and coordination with local authorities.
• Manage incident investigations, workers' compensation data, and corrective actions.
• Prepare environmental reports and safety statistics for stakeholders and regulators.
