Job summary

Spectrum Brands is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for our Vinita Park facility in the St. Louis, MO area. The role ensures a safe, healthy workplace and regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA and local standards.

The ideal candidate will lead EHS initiatives, deliver training, and drive safety improvements while aligning with corporate objectives and Spectrum Brands’ values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role with knowledge of regulations.
• Manufacturing facility experience is required.
• Experience with Process Safety Management or Risk Management Planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS initiatives aligned with company objectives.
• Manage safety performance and reporting through EHS systems.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance at local, state and federal levels.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
• Design and deliver training on safety and environmental topics.
• Lead the plant Safety Committee and safety communications.
• Coordinate emergency action planning with local authorities.
• Ensure PSM and RMP compliance and hazard analyses.
• Conduct EHS audits and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare environmental reports for agencies and regulators.
• Support workers’ compensation investigations and return-to-work plans.
• Promote Spectrum Brands values in daily operations.
