Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Jackson Distribution Center in Jackson, TN, is seeking an on-site EHS Manager to elevate our health, safety and environmental programs. You will design, implement and maintain the site EHS management system, drive regulatory compliance and waste reduction, and lead audits with the Corporate EHS team.

You will supervise EHS staff, deliver OSHA training, manage OSHA logs, and partner with regulators and operations to build an accident-free culture while sustaining 100%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety or Environmental Sciences preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience implementing EHS culture in a warehouse.
• Broad knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 standards.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Analytical skills and data interpretation ability.
• Proficient with MS Office and EHS data systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site EHS management system plans including ISO certifications.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance related to employee health and safety.
• Deliver OSHA training, site emergency response, and hazard awareness training.
• Develop programs to improve workplace health and ergonomics.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal safety regulations; liaise with government agencies.
• Lead annual EHS audits and track corrective actions and reporting.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs and injury/illness metrics; monitor leading indicators.
• Supervise EHS staff and oversee attendance, training, and development.
