Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for the on-site Jackson, TN location on 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday). You will lead a team in a fast-paced warehouse, drive safety culture, manage staffing, and coordinate work processes.

Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/WMS experience, and 3+ years of supervisory experience are preferred. The role includes developing Team Leaders, monitoring performance, and partnering with HR to hire and coach staff while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with inventory or warehouse software (SAP, WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees through active safety culture and policy enforcement.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet department goals efficiently.
• Plan and coordinate work using time studies and cost analyses.
• Train, motivate, and evaluate associates; develop Team Leaders.
• Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Engage the team and build trust to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Collaborate with HR to hire, administer policies, resolve issues, and coach for improvement.
