Triumvirate Environmental is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Consultant for our Northern CA team. The role is on-site with clients in the South San Francisco Bay Area, focusing on identifying hazards, performing inspections, and implementing safety improvements.

The position requires 2+ years in EHS, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's license. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an EHS capacity.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Detail orientation.
• Possess valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Measure occupational and environmental hazards using calibrated equipment or samples.
• Inspect machinery and equipment like lifting devices and guards.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and PPE compliance checks.
• Identify hazards and help implement control measures such as ventilation adjustments.
• Investigate accidents and injuries and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate safety issues to client personnel and advise on actions.
• Conduct routine EHS trainings such as new employee orientation and hazard communication.
• Write reports and OSHA recordkeeping documents.
• Assist in developing health and safety policies, procedures, and manuals.
