Job summary

ERM is seeking a Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety, EHS, to support Fortune 500 clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will help develop and implement safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and manage client relationships on site.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field, 2+ years of experience, knowledge of EHS regulations, and willingness to travel up to 40 hours/week in Northern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related science degree required.
• 2+ years of relevant EHS experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 hours/week within Northern California Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative safety programs for clients, including auditing and assessments.
• Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, and observations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement EHS programs and strategies.
• Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance across deliverables.
