Job summary

Aroha Technologies, Inc. is seeking an EHR Clinical Specialist to support the Oklahoma State Department of Health in optimizing the use of the EHR system.

The role includes maintaining training materials, documenting changes, and collaborating with clinic staff, program personnel, and vendor partners to ensure efficient EHR operations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in HIM or related field and 3 years of experience, or an associate degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HIM or related field with 3+ years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 5+ years in health IT.
• Experience supporting EHRs in clinical or public health settings is preferred.
• Ability to analyze workflows and document changes for system updates.

Responsibilities

• Maintains training materials for the EHR and assists in training.
• Maintains workflow documentation for EHR processes.
• Coordinates testing and implementation of EHR changes with stakeholders and vendor.
• Tracks and manages change requests from conception to implementation.
• Responds to escalated EHR help desk tickets.
• Attends to EHR interface errors and ensures data communication between EHR and systems.
• Develops and maintains role-based security profiles in the EHR.
• Being present at the office is an essential function of the job.
• Other duties as assigned.
