Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a driven Contract Driver Recruiter to own the full recruiting lifecycle for CDL and non-CDL company drivers across the U.S. and Canada. You will source, screen, hire, and onboard while promoting timely onboarding and retention.

This fast-paced role collaborates with operations and HR to meet staffing goals. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in driver recruiting, knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, and experience with Tenstreet or similar ATS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in driver recruiting in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruiting processes independently.
• Experience building pipelines in competitive driver markets.
• Experience with ATS platforms, ideally Tenstreet.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding and retention support.
• Recruit CDL and Non-CDL drivers for tractor and straight truck operations across markets in the U.S. and Canada.
• Convert temporary drivers into permanent company drivers.
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and targeted campaigns.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate experience and fit.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA and company hiring standards.
