Job summary

RTX seeks a skilled technician for ROTHR radar support in Chesapeake, VA. You will operate and monitor receiver site equipment, perform maintenance on RF/digital hardware, and follow instructions to ensure mission readiness.

Applicants should have 2+ years in electronics, a relevant technical degree, and be able to obtain security clearance. This on-site role offers benefits and aligns with DoD program requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Graduation in Electronic or Electrical Engineering Technology with a 2-year program or Military Tech School.
• Experience using test equipment and systematic troubleshooting of major electronic systems.
• Must have a clean driving record to access DoD installations.
• Subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility for access to a military installation.
• Active DoD Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems level operation and monitoring of ROTHR receiver site equipment.
• Maintain ROTHR receiver site and communications equipment (RF/Digital hardware, PC farms, etc.).
• Receive guidance from supervisor and ensure compliance with practices.
• Use manuals and documented procedures to solve complex problems.
• Plan work sequence and select appropriate tools and test equipment.
