Job summary

RTX is seeking an on-site HVAC technician to service ROTHR radar systems in Premont, TX. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and environmental-control equipment, following manuals and schematics and coordinating with radar electronics technicians.

Required is 6+ years of HVAC/electrical experience, HS diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, and a clean driving record. Security clearance (DoD Secret) is required for day-one eligibility, with no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Six years technical experience in HVAC and electrical on complex systems.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification required.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair electrical and environmental-control systems for ROTHR radar.
• Maintain cooling/heating units and associated PA/SM shelters.
• Use manuals/blueprints to diagnose and repair HVAC/electrical issues.
• Collaborate with RADAR Electronics Technicians on system problems.
