Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite HVAC/Electrical Technician in Premont, Texas to service ROTHR radar systems and ensure continuous operation of critical environmental controls.

The role requires a DoD security clearance, a minimum of six years’ HVAC/electrical experience, and relevant certifications; teamwork and problem‑solving skills are essential as you will work closely with RADAR Electronics Technicians.

Qualifications

• HVAC certificate or diploma proving course completion.
• Universal EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• Experience with trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, HVAC and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair HVAC and electrical systems on ROTHR radar sites.
• Maintain cooling and heating units and automation controls.
• Work from manuals, blueprints, drawings and specifications to locate faults.
• Collaborate with RADAR Electronics Technicians to solve complex system problems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
