Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Andover, MA is seeking an IT systems administrator to support a diverse Windows and Linux environment onsite. You will manage server architectures, perform troubleshooting, and work within a security-focused DoD framework.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience, the ability to obtain interim DoD clearance, and readiness to obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certifications. This is a full-time onsite position with relocation options.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Windows and or /Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Server architectures and troubleshooting methods.
• Must be able to develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
• Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within a reasonable amount of time
• Full time 100% Onsite position.
