Job summary

Raytheon, based at Forest, MS, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to provide engineering support for the Forest Consolidated Manufacturing Center. You will ensure hardware meets drawing requirements and help develop assembly instructions, routers and process controls to meet customer objectives in a SCIF environment.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience, familiarity with failure analysis and lean practices, and experience with engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective or preventive actions, or Lean/CI processes.
• Experience working with engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with manufacturing engineering initiatives within assigned work center(s) within the Forest Manufacturing Site
• Participating in Root Cause analysis and CORE initiatives
• Actively pursuing methods and processes to improve overall Quality of our product
• Assisting with the review and dispositioning of state-of-the-art hardware to maintain production process flow
• Gathering data to help to create and maintain Assembly instructions, Routers and Process Control Documents.
