RTX in Forest, MS seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to provide engineering support for the Forest Consolidated Manufacturing Center, ensuring hardware is assembled per drawings and assisting in creating assembly instructions and process controls.

The role involves root-cause analysis, quality improvement initiatives, and working in a SCIF environment to help meet customer integrations and objectives.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective or preventive actions, or experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes
• Experience working with engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Assisting with manufacturing engineering initiatives within assigned work center(s) within the Forest Manufacturing Site
• Participating in Root Cause analysis and CORE initiatives
• Actively pursuing methods and processes to improve overall Quality of our product
• Assisting with the review and dispositioning of state‑of‑the‑art hardware to maintain production process flow
• Gathering data to help to create and maintain Assembly instructions, Routers and Process Control Documents.
