• Six Sigma experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning team and assist with communication between transportation, operations, and customer service.
• Prepare the outbound truckload shipping schedule for the following work day.
• Monitor on-time pickup performance of carriers and report issues to management.
• Work with the DC Operations team to ensure orders are processed on time to meet the shipping schedule.
• Assist the DC Operations team in gathering information to estimate labor requirements for the shipping schedule.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Operations, and transportation providers to help expedite high-priority orders.
• Participate in process improvement activities as directed.
• Develop working knowledge of the Transportation Management System and Distribution Management System (DM Plus).
