Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. is hiring a Distribution EH&S Manager to lead on-site health, safety and environmental programs in Jackson, TN.

You will implement EHS management plans, deliver OSHA training, and guide site teams on regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement. Candidate should bring 3–5 years’ experience in warehouse EHS culture, knowledge of 29 CFR 1910, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Safety or Environmental Sciences preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience implementing EHS culture in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Broad knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and EHS Data Management system.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site EHS management system plans, including ISO certifications.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance related to Employee Health and Safety.
• Deliver training on OSHA compliance and site safety programs.
• Develop programs to improve workplace health, ergonomics, and hazard awareness.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state safety regulations; liaise with government agencies.
• Oversee EHS audits, corrective actions, and reporting of results.
• Maintain environmental, safety, and security data on the EHS site.
• Track OSHA 300 logs and injury/illness metrics; drive near-miss reporting.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis; monitor evolving standards.
• Lead security responsibilities, including third-party oversight and incident investigations.
• Supervise EHS staff, including attendance, training, and development.
